Meet the team at CAG Accounting Services
Claire founded the company in 2018 following a move to Hertfordshire. As a licensed AAT accountant, Claire's passion for helping businesses grow was ignited by her early career and experience in operations management, focusing on HR and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and profitability. Aside from being a trusted advisor, Claire is an avid fan of musical theatre—a passion that is very much a family affair and provides a delightful escape from the intricacies of solving financial challenges for her clients.
Stephen joined the company in 2018 and is our lead tax advisor and accountant. Along with his tax knowledge, Stephen is a trusted advisor to clients, providing advice and acting as a sounding board for important business decisions. Outside of work, Stephen enjoys sports, particularly football, cricket, and fishing.
Katie joined the team in 2021. She is a qualified Accounting Technician and has recently passed her final ACCA exam, almost earning her Chartered Accounting designation. Katie is a great problem solver and works with our clients to tailor solutions to their needs. Outside of work, Katie volunteers for the Girlguiding organisation as a section leader and is a qualified tomahawk-throwing instructor!
Oliver started his apprenticeship with CAG Accounting Services in 2022. Having recently achieved his Level 3 AAT qualification, he is moving on to Level 4 AAT, gaining practical experience along the way. Oliver likes to think “outside the box” when it comes to processes and is always looking out for our clients’ needs. A social butterfly, Oliver also finds time to play golf and football and loves to travel and ski when he can.
Laura joined the company in 2020, supporting the team with the bookkeeping function for our clients. Outside of work, Laura has two young children to keep her busy and plays clarinet in a local concert band.
Kayleigh joined the team in 2021, managing our clients’ payrolls and CIS accounts. Kayleigh loves spending time with her family when she’s not working.
Nicola joined the team in May 2024. After completing her Level 2 AAT qualification, she is currently studying for her ICB Bookkeeping Level 3. Nicola is enjoying the variety of the role and looks forward to supporting our clients and the rest of the team. Nicola loves to spend time with her football-loving family. She is a keen runner.
